Background:
The Architects’ Regional Council Asia (ARCASIA) is a Council of the presidents of the National Institutes of Architects of twenty-one Asian countries that are members of ARCASIA. Every alternate year, Asian Congress of Architects (ACA) is hosted by one of the member countries of ARCASIA. The Architectural Society of China (ASC) will host the ACA19 in 2021 together with Tongji University. ARCASIA Student Jamboree is accompanying each ACA gathering architectural students from member countries of ARCASIA. Being part of ACA19, The ARCASIA Student Jamboree 2021 is organized by ARCASIA and commissioned under ASC with Tongji University in association with ACAE.
Each member institute can have 5-8 students nominated by member institutes and 1 tutor for the Student Jamboree. These 5-8 students and 1 tutor from the same member institute will represent a team participation in Student Jamboree, which is three days long.
It was an absolute delight and honour to take part in this year's Jamboree alongside 3 schoolmates from SUTD, 2 from NUS, and our Mentor Bianca Gill from RSP Architects Planners & Engineers Pte Ltd.
